That being the case, the GX 460 is your better choice if you have more passengers. Their luggage can go in a trailer as this car has a 6,500-pound towing capacity.
Length
The length difference is not too big as the GX 470 is about 192 inches long, and the GX 460 is 188 inches long. You don’t have to keep moving to the front seat, where most of your luggage will be, to use the power outlets.It is 74.6 inches high, offering some more space to move at night if you install a sleeping platform or a big air mattress. There’s also multi-level heating in both the driver and passenger seats.

A GX 460 wins overall for several reasons. First, as we found out earlier, it’s more fuel-efficient. It comes in several trims, including the GX 460 Premium and the GX 40 Luxury. These models have more horsepower to match their off-road driving capability.
Since Lexus discontinued the GX 470 in 2009, you’re only likely to come across used models. It might be a long search to find a clean, practical machine. However, you may want to look for one because its rear legroom is outstanding.
